Fees For Self-Pay

Patients without insurance can self-pay for both exams and eyewear. We strive to keep our fees as low as possible. All fees must be paid at the time services are provided or prescriptions are ordered. The prices below reflect costs for self-paying patients with no insurance coverage.

We accept personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express credit cards, as well as Flex Spending/Health Savings Account cards.

Comprehensive Eye Exam

Contact Lens Exam
Starts at $171 and includes comprehensive eye exam, plus the cost of the evaluation and fitting.

Contact Evaluations/Fittings
$42-$850

Emergency/Urgent Care
Start at $126; does not include cost of any tests or procedures. Note: after hours emergency visits will have additional fees that may not be reimbursed by your insurance

Ophthalmology Consultation
Start at $126, plus the cost of any additional treatments.

Special Visual Assessment
Starts at $234

Vision Functions Testing

Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation Evaluation
$435 for two appointments.

Cal Alumni Association Benefits
