Dr. Samuel Mainieri was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He completed his undergraduate studies at Truman State University and earned his optometry degree at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Mainieri is passionate about vision therapy and vision rehabilitation with specific interests in concussion/neuro-rehabilitation and sports vision training, and is excited to continue his clinical journey as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry & Vision Science. During his free time, he enjoys exploring the Bay Area, finding the best new restaurants, and spending time with his Shiba Inu named Aspen.
