About Dr. Nassiri
Dr. Maryam Nassiri grew up in Toronto, Canada and earned her doctorate from New England College of Optometry. During her clinical rotations, she developed a passion for ocular disease which prompted her to pursue an Ocular Disease residency at UC Berkeley. After residency completion, Dr. Nassiri worked full time at UCSF's satellite clinic at San Francisco General Hospital before returning to UC Berkeley to teach. In her free time, Dr. Nassiri loves spending time with friends and family. As an avid hiker, cyclist and nature enthusiast, she has enjoyed all that the Bay Area has to offer.
