About Dr. Seino
Dr. Jennifer Seino has taught first, second, and third year students in the pre-clinic curriculum since 1998. In addition to her role as a faculty member at Berkeley Optometry, she provides direct patient care in a private optometry clinic. As a primary care optometrist, she has the opportunity to practice all aspects of optometry, such as comprehensive eye examinations, refractive surgery co-management, contact lens fittings, binocular vision evaluations, and ocular disease management. Dr. Seino integrates her private practice experience into her teaching to prepare the students for seeing their own patients in the University Eye Center clinic.
Dr. Seino has served as an examiner for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and as a member of the American Academy of Optometry Admittance Committee. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and two children.
